Eishwarya Lakshmi Yantra

Lakshmi has many names. She is known to be very closely associated with the Lotus, and her many epithets are connected to the flower, such as:

Padma: lotus dweller.
Kamala: lotus dweller.
Padmapriya: One who likes lotuses
Padmamaladhara devi: One who wears a garland of lotuses
Padmamukhi: One whose face is as beautiful as a lotus
Padmakshi: One whose eyes are as beautiful as a lotus
Padmahasta: One who holds a lotus
Padmasundari: One who is as beautiful as a lotus
Vishnupriya: One who is the beloved of Vishnu
Ulookavahini: One who rides an owl

Her other names include: Rama, Indira, Manushri, Chakrika, Kamalika, Lalima, Nandika, Rujula ,Vaishnavi, Narayani,Bhargavi, Sridevi, Chanchala, Bhumi Devi,Jalaja, and Aiswarya. She is also referred to as Jaganmaatha (mother of the universe) in Shri Mahalakshmi Ashtakam. Rama and Indira are popular.

Shankaracharya was the greatest scholar and Sanyasi of his times. His Guru told him that till he did not accomplish the Sadhana and worship of Goddess Lakshmi he would not be able to attain to totality in life. He revealed a very secret Sadhana to Shankar that is amazingly powerful.

On any Sunday night take a plate of copper or bronze and get it smeared with black of lamp over it. Then with a silver straw draw a picture of Goddess Lakshmi on it. On it place an Eishwarya Lakshmi Yantra. Then wear white robes and sit facing North. Prepare four lamps of dough and fill them with sesame or mustard oil. Place them on the four corners of the plate. Then with a Coral rosary chant 31 rounds of the Mantra. On completion of the chanting sleep at that very spot. In the morning you might hear the tinkling sound of anklets. This shall be a sign of advent of Goddess Lakshmi in your house. There shall then never be any paucity in your house. I have seen many Yogis of the Himalayas use this very Sadhana and they have experienced that it is a very wonderful Tantra ritual.
